Hello I have this green dot right on the top and when I go on a fully black picture, I can see the dot flashing red and green as i tilt it.

This is bothering me because I just found out about it.

Will apple let me take my iphone back to the shop to get it fixed?

I cant return my iPhone back because my 30 day guarantee is over and my iPhone is a month old.

Will apple help even though my guarantee is over?

What can I do to get rid of this dot?

Question

Will they replace it even if its one tiny little incy wincy dot?

I had a dead pixel show up on my iPhone 5 this week. I took at Apple and they allowed me to look at one replacement. The Replacement had dust under the glass screen and looked just as bad as my dead pixel so I said I would rather keep my phone. They said that was my only option I have to make another appointment to see another phone even though the apple genius could see dust too. It actually looked like small metal flakes. Pretty disappointed with apple since I paid for AppleCare+ and it really didn't do me much good. The genius was very nice as was I. Just disappointed.

Will they give me a new phone right away?

If I go to the apple store and tell them the problem

I will also show them the box and the receipts

Will they give me a new iPhone straight away or do I have to talk with those apple genius people and wait for days just to get a new one?

I'd make an appointment.

You don't need box, receipts, etc. They will see by the serial number it is under warranty and replace it right away. They only want the phone. :)

What will they give me?

1 more question

Will they give me a new iPhone 5 fresh out of the box or will they give me one that has been refurbished?

Please don't start this...
It will be a refurb, but they are 100% OK, and probably even better since they've been tested.

You will more than likely get a refurb without any hassle or runaround from Apple. The best thing to do would be to make an appointment at the genius bar.

Refurbished units are 100% OK because they are pretty much examined with a fine tooth comb. My advice would just be to inspect the refurb to make sure there are no issues with it.
