Other Green Texts With One Person?

Starting dating someone new recently. She has an iPhone like me. Everything between us in green texts. We have blue texts with everyone else we text with. What can we do to fix? (We tried toggling iMessage on our phones to no avail.)

Make sure iMessage is toggled on on both phones. Check your Send and Receive contacts too.
I’ve sent MMS iMessages to people I know have an iPhone and occasionally the text bubble will be green.

Try sending to their Apple ID email rather than the phone number if possible, or the other way around.

Have either of you tried deleting the thread of each other's messages and starting over?

I would try the method ericwn mentioned first (esp. if you have messages you want to refer to from each other), but that is what fixed a similar issue for me in the past.

Yes this should fix the issue. When signal strength isn't strong sometimes it sends as regular sms text
