Well said CowArt! The goal is scientific research, but the competition and points are what makes it exciting in the beginning. As time goes on, that aspect becomes less alluring, but it still can be fun to see the team's fortunes rise and fall.

Yep, you sure can. Just copy a shortcut to the F@H application (the one that runs in the terminal) to... I think... "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users (or Owner)\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\" and it should start every time you start your computer.Mechcozmo said:Eh, no. If anyone can tell me how to get a WinXP computer to auto run the F@H scripts right on startup, that would be very nice. I have a computer in the house that would do well at that, but I'm not always around to start up the scripts. And I don't want the screen-saver version... terminal-style will do.
Can anyone do that?

You might want to check out a program called HideIt (sorry, cant find a link right now), it's the best application I've found to hide running applications from the taskbar.

Answer should be yes, obviously...Launch automatically at machine startup, installing this as a
service (yes/no) [no]?

After that you can either manually start the service, or reboot the computer, and F@H will run as a service!![]()
