Grey progress bar

Is it normal to have a grey progress bar when booting up my Mid 2011 Mini running Yosemite ?
I know it didn't happen with previous OS versions.

Same thing here with the late 2012 model after upgrading, it adds about ten seconds to the boot up time though.

Both my 2012 MBP and 2012 mini do it. If I recall that also happened a couple of years ago with a previous Mac OS. An update solved that issue.

So far on both of my updated-via-App Store Yosemite installs the progress bar is about the only issue (other than Apple celebrating the introduction of Yosemite by ruining the mini).
