Grey Screen Of Death!

    no actually no, it's not a kernel panic. its worst cause kernel panics just need a reboot T_T

    The thing is my MacBook Pro with Leopard wont show the login window/screen etc..
    it gets "stuck" at the grey screen with the apple logo and the little processing icon moving, then it restarts itself just to go back to the grey screen with apple logo, and so the cicle repeats.

    I already opened my lap as an external HD to check if the HD was Ok and the all files are intact, so I guess Ii may have accidentaly moved some hidden files.

    anyone knows how can i fix this?
    a list of the hidden files may help too.

    I would do a system install, put the osx disc in & reboot. Do not do a clean install or erase the drive. It gives an option to leave all the files alone & basically install another system file with all the old prefs.

    thanks, im on that... waiting for leopard to isntall and then im gonna do a mayor clean up :S
