I have the sane problem!

My phone has been doing the same thing. I might have dropped it a few times though. But i cant get it replaced cause i bought this phone from a guy and i dont have no recite. What shuld i do? The line is getting worse as we speak!

This problem extends further

I have two iPods right now, the 4GB 3g iPod nano, and a 1g iPod touch.
Both had this issue.
iPod nano had these stripes vertical on the left of the screen, and after some time, they just disappeared... now, when I look at the screen in full brightness against a grey background, I can see a slightly faded spot where the lines used to be.
On my iPod touch however, they are as you said earlir, horizontal, and they seem to change every time I use it. There are two extending from each edge of the screen, they used to run all the way, but now, they don't meet in the middle. and each time that gap shortens, or widens.
and this iPod had a really hard life. I used it during my military service.
My theory is that this has something to do with the display cable.
It is a shame really, that they make these things to break intentionally.

You don't need the receipt with :apple:products, check here if you are still under warranty and what are your options.

I have the same issue, I've been wondering bout this. I got the iPhone from my grandfather, and want to know how to fix these pixels, are they merely stuck? Would an RGB test fix them? I ask because I hear that dead pixels are greenish....
