Why Grey's is BAD
The horrible 3 part arc with NO character development.
Christina's character developed, as did Izzy's, as did Mark and Derek's relationship.
Meridith drowning? Oh come on! Like we were going to believe for a second that the main character would die.
I agree it was predictable, but I think if you're only watching waiting for surprises then you're missing out on a lot.
I hate cheesy, this is what the afterlife is like episodes period where there's a guide, blah blah.
most of your complaints seem to be with that 3 part arc. Just saying.
What's up with killing good people off? Ellis, now Susan? I liked Susan. George's dad, okay. But seriously.
Makes for good drama. Susan was a little unnecessary, but I think both George's dad and Ellis were important plot/character developments. Susan may turn out to be the same, so don't judge it yet.
The main characters must all have a bunch of STDs in common. I'm sick and tired of them sleeping around with each other. Seriously.
Again, good drama. Sex and death are compelling. Also - you complain the show has changed so much, but the sleeping around has always been there and has always been prominently featured.
What happened to those awesome just interns being kids/young hanging out scenes in the basement? Or at lunch? They're started to finally bring those back, but only in the teaser or in the closer (tequila (?) shots) like last night. That's what made that show different.
heh. You complain about no character development, and you also complain when the characters grow up. They still hang out (e.g. studying for the intern exam), but they are more mature now (e.g. the studying is at Burke's place).
Agreed, Meridith/Derek is too much like Ross/Rachel
Because they are on again/off again? That's pretty much the only similarity I see. If that's enough of a similarity for you, I'll bet you really didn't like the second Shakespeare play you read.
Callie and McSteamy have really been sidelined for much of the season or relegated to characters or minimal importance who make appearances now and then and again - for the most part - no character development. Callie's situation has changed, but really haven't seen HER. Mark's only recently shown compassion and that's about it for him.
Right, because they're not main characters... what, you want in-depth treatment of each member of a 10+ person ensemble cast in an hour show?
Why the hell would susan be in the FREE clinic? Anybody else find anything wrong with that?
um... no? She's there because... it's free? And because the doctors are the same doctors as in the hospital? And because she thought all she had was persistent hiccups?
I'm not telling you to like it, but IMO your gripes with it are silly and in many cases, just inaccurate. Of course it's not going to be exactly like season 1, and if it were, you'd complain about that too.
