I have been an iPhone user since the very first release 10 years ago and had every new model to include the current iPhone X. Over the past couple of years or so, I have always been in the hunt for “The Perfect case” that would meet my needs whenever a new phone is released. For some reason, I was always interested in one of the GRFXP cases. Whenever I click on a link or picture of a case I am interested in, this brand always caught my attention in terms of design and quality of materials. I am not sure if this is just a coincidence, but I always tend to land on this brand’s site when shopping for a case and always wondered what kind of business this company runs as they only offer a case or two =) Rest assure that this company is legit and they stand behind their products and services.

This time around, I was given the opportunity to share my thoughts about the New Lunar Bumper case for the iPhone X. Pete @ grfxp was very kind to send one my way. Thanks Pete!!! I am not sure when the actual release date is but I believe there will be a black version as well to match the space gray X.

My firsts thoughts upon receiving the bumper case were that it had excellent build quality with a mixture of beveled aluminum on the outer, and an inner lining silicone layer . The beveled frame provides a good grip and feels great on hand. The look reminds of an iPhone 5, or 4 (I think). I always get these two confused. The case actually makes the phone thinner while holding because of the beveled edges. No problem with my existing iCarez 2.5D glass Protector as well, perfect fit.

The upper rear of the bumper also has a raised TPU like material on the corners where the camera lens is located, which kind of serve like feet when laid on a flat surface. So far, I am not noticing any loss of signal strength due to the case.

Again, I love the overall design and this will be one of my go-to-cases to add to my MO Fusion bumper and Apple Saddle Brown Leather Case.

Pros:

· Well designed, lightweight, and most importantly competitively priced

· Lined with TPU to prevent scratches on the stainless steel bands of the X

· Raised feet to protect Camera Lens

· Large opening to access the mute button

· Aluminum Buttons with tactile feel

· No branding or logos!

Cons:

· Not of the fan of the off centered design of the TPU rubber on the bottom (just being picky)

· Design is so thin that front glass sits almost flush with the bumper itself (with a 2.5D glass protector installed)

Nice review. I can’t wait to try the Nova bumper. I may prefer the more squared off-ish feeling.
