Griffin elevator stand with 17" mbp

hi anyone got this stand would it be ok for my 17" mbp. i was looking in the apple store and someone said there macbook slipped from the elevator anyone else had this problem. 🙄

I have this setup (w/17" MBP) because I read that some had some slippage with the Griffen so I went with the mStand. Looks great, very sturdy, has the lip to keep your MBP in place and has a nice notch so that you can open the lid.

I agree with the M-Stand, but my main stand is the Logitech Alto w/ USB.

I have the Griffin with unibody 17" mbp.
No slippage problems here.
With the stand's rubber mounts on which the laptop is placed, I can't see how it would slip 😕
My only complaint is that if I knock the table, the stand does tend to make the laptop wobble ever so slightly.
