Howdy,
I just got the Griffin Expresscard/34 reader for my MBP. I also got a Kingston 2GB SD card. I've tried everything and even formatted it to HFS+ on my PC. It just doesn't get recognized. I insert the crappy 16MB card that came with my camera and it works just fine.

Does anyone know what's wrong, or know of a 2GB card that's confirmed to work?

Thanks!!

just in case anyone asks or searches for this question, i got this email from griffin:

The Griffin Expresscard 34 5:1 Card Reader is only compatible with cards with less than 2GB capacity. There are some cards that will work at 2GB. Our supported cards include: Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick, SD Memory Card, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card. If using a card adapter, then the following are compatible: Memory Stick Duo, Memory StickMicro, miniSD, microSD, RS-MC, MMCplus, MMCmobile.
I have had reports of Kingston brand cards with 512MB capacity working but not 2GB. The Card Reader also requires OS 10.3.9 or higher or Windows XP. I hope this helps.

Quite common, my quite recently bought usb card reader couldn't handle it either, sucks. Just return it and get something better, preferably something which says it can handle bigger cards, maybe even sdhc?

SDHC is different, so getting that doesn't guarantee the 2gb card will work.

i have a $15 usb SD reader from best buy that reads my 2gb kingston card just fine.
