Good morning,

I purchased said product as it was described as compatable with iPhone 3G. When I plug it in it says this device is not compatable with iPhone, would I like to use airplane mode?

Bought off E-bay so lesson learnt. Basically I just want the simple FM tuner accessory to connect to my car radio as it's not worth me paying to get a hardwired option.

Are there any you can recommend for those that have an iPhone 3g and can confirm works.

Just because it gives you that message does not mean that it is not compatible with the iPhone. I have tons of accessories that work just fine even though it says this.

The issue I have is that I want to play Spotify through my car and it seems that doesn't work but it works in iPod mode.
Does one need a different device that supports external audio from apps or something?

I've had the Apple iPhone dock itself give me the "Not Compatible" message.
