I'm disappointed in seeing this. I expect more from the "real" case companies.

I used your image Macmar88, hope you don't mind.

So much for originality within these companies.

I have the Scosche and love it.

Update - I purchased the Griffin version after seeing it at BB. Reason? It's superior to the Scosche in that the Griffin logo is much smaller and far less noticeable but most important, Griffin's version does not have the two chips from the mold break that all the Scosche's have (one on each side). Much nicer looking version.

FWIW the difficult to press buttons get much better after a little use.

I picked up one of these at Bestbuy on the way home on Friday. It's probably going back tonight. I love the fit of the case...it is MUCH tighter than my Apple Bumper....which is loose fitting, but the the buttons are way to hard to push and unresponsive.

I've had this Griffin bumper for about a month now, and really like it. I agree though; the buttons are hard to press, and the other drawback is that the opening for the headphones is too small. I have to remove the bumper when I connect my iPhone 4 to my JBL creature speakers. Other than that, I still prefer this over the Apple Bumper.

I do love this bumper best out of the dozen (literally) different cases I've tried. However, I do find it annoying that Griffin's own car charger doesn't fit the port at the bottom. Mr. Dremel took care of that :D

I have a dynex charger that fits it's about the size as the old apple chargers

Anymore opinions on this bumper?
I may take a trip to BB to check them out until my Apple bumper gets delivered...

I say go for it other than the fact that it's being rebranded by three different companies it's still a great bumper case. I use it all the time. The buttons are a little harder to press that's the only thing that apple bumper has over this one

I had bought one of these several weeks ago and then returned it because the buttons were too hard to push.

Went back a couple of days ago and picked one up again to give it a more thorough try. Can't deal with the loosey-goosey Apple Bumper.

For the first time since I got my iP4...which was a couple of weeks after launch....I dropped it. It slipped out of my hand as I was grabbing it off my desk at work and it fell about 3 feet onto the concrete floor. It landed right on the edge. The case saved my bacon. Not a scratch on the phone or the frame case. If I had been using the Incase Snap case I had been using I probably would had a different situation.

Good stuff! Much better fit than the Apple Bumper. The buttons are still much harder to push....but I'm getting used to it.

I like my Apple Bumper, but I do not like the incompatibility with 3rd party accessories which I have a few of. I think I'm going to pick this case up 2morrow while I'm @ Best Buy and give it a shot.

I was going to purchase the apple bumper but couldn't wait so I opted to get the Griffin Reveal Frame. I really like the case besides the fact that the buttons are stiff and hard to press. For those who are using this case do the buttons get easier to press after awhile and does dust/debris get collected easily inside the case?

Do any of the other two "clones" have a headphone port that's easier to access than the Griffin one? My L-shaped plug on my cassette adapter definitely doesn't fit...strange too, since it fits just fine with the Griffin Reveal (non-frame).

Lol you can get the same looking bumper with transparent sides from Sw-box for like a few dollars.
I think it was like 4-5 dollars?

I immediately fell in love with the Griffin case upon seeing it at my local Best Buy yesterday. However, upon getting home & opening the package, I noticed the "bleeding plastic" others have mentioned. It's really not much of anything, but those of us with OCD will know what I mean. :) And also like others, I found it somewhat difficult to push the buttons, especially the power button.

It's a beautiful case, but not worth the money, IMO. I might've kept it if not for this thread, but after finding out other sites sell similar cases, I found one on eBay I prefer because it uses the iPhone's own buttons, which I think is ideal. This case has pretty much the same exact design as the others except for a small cutout running down each side. It's $8.95 with free shipping.

Needless to say, I'm returning the Griffin case because of the imperfections and trying this one. Anyway, I've been helped a lot on this site so I want to post the link for others. I believe this might be a good find unless you feel your buttons need protecting, but don't blame me if it's a piece of junk. ;)

The original version consisted of physical rubberized buttons on the reveal. Later on they ditched the rubberized buttons with cut outs for the phones buttons. In my opinion the original version had better fitment meaning it was more snug. The first reveal I had the buttons were stiff but luckily on my second one they aren't that stiff compared with the first one.

I had the new case fitting and didn't like it. Just ordered another one with the older fitting via ebay the other day for $4 shipped.
