Yeah I imagine if there's nothing to hold the camera flap open it would be a pain. At least the Seidio Rugged has a latch for the camera flap.

Mine should be here in a few days!

Anyone know if the silicone is rigid or flexible?

It's thick flexible silicone with a grainy texture. I like the case very much so far. Everything remains usable. I just need to get used to that screen film because it isn't as smooth as the glass or good quality screen protectors. It sort of feels like an anti-glare film. There are two more cases in Griffin's Armored line which Griffin did not announce yet :)

How long did it take to get to your place from from when you first ordered/how long did it take to arrive, looking forward to the review! Mine should be here any day now!

My contact at Griffin sent it to me and it took one day.

Picked up one today at the Verizon store. So far I like it alot. I have a couple Otterbox Defenders and what I don't like about the Defender is the plastic at the top never is tight. Survivor is very tight. My little boy loves to play with my phone, so I need something with a lot of protection.

Fits very snug on my ATT model.

I completely agree with you. There is a small annoying little thing with the camera flap but that is all really. Very solid case from Griffin. I wholeheartedly recommend the Survivor.

Here is the unofficial thread for the Griffin Survivor for the iPhone 4. Post your thoughts, pictures, and the opinions of the case in the (un)official thread.

YouTube Video

i have read another thread, comparing several cases, including Otterbox Defender and Griffin Survivor. i have watched the posted video of Griffin Survivor. you have to admit that there is a little chance that what is shown in the video is not real. i wanna wait for more reviews from other guys. after all, the case is just under pre-order now. nevertheless, the case looks nice, in 4 different colors. thanks for sharing the news.:D

i hope that the other cases in the armor line look better than the survivor case, im just not a fan of huge cases as i dont need maximum protection.

But the ARMORED cases are supposed to provide maximum protection, where ever you go.

yes i can see that by the size of the case, i just want to see what there comparison to the commuter will be, hopefully it will be something nice cant wait to see

Oh ok, will I'll have all the ARMORED cases very soon, hopefully. I have the Survivor coming in on Monday, too bad mail doesn't come on Sunday.
