I use the otterbox but got the griffin one too. Is it just me or is the screen protector on the griffin one really loose? It feels wrong touching the screen as if it's a loose layer on top.

Defender all the way. The Survivor looks bloated compared to the Defender. Otterbox has great customer service as well. Plenty of great deals on Defenders too.

The Defender has had a few issues. Look on the forums. There are unhappy people out there who used the Defender series on their iPhone 5s.

How does a iphone case make you unhappy? Defender is the best tough case available unless you go up to the armour.

The Armor is just too bulky and the camera cover while good in theory, is a PITA when you need to snap a quick pick.

Again, Otterbox has great customer service also. Best things is to buy both, play around with it for bit and return the one you don't like.

Buying and sending back is not viable from here in Australia. most shops only let you return if it is faulty not for change of mind.

Are you saying there is a cover on the Armour you have to take off to take a photo?

Yes, it's like a plug that hangs down when removed, then you push it back in when done.

The Griffin Survivor has a camera cover. None of the Otterbox cases have camera covers.

Unhappy with the quality of the product. I have read reviews from people who said that their phones have been scratched from the Defender case. There have been others that have expressed that the area where the belt clip snaps on has become frayed over time. I have also read that there are issues with dust getting into the phone case as well. I would imagine that these are the reasons that their are unhappy Defender owners out there.

There is no perfect case. Anyone can find flaws in any product. The majority of Defender owners feel it's a solid product. I can vouch for their customer service which is non-existent in almost all other case manufactures.

Rubbish they don't scratch your phone, i take mine out once a week and it is as new.

Not a bit of dust, take the phone out occasionally and give it a clean, if you want no dust get a armor.

Belt clip i don't use all the time so can't comment. Works good for mowing the lawn.
