I use Our Groceries. My wife uses my email to sign in so we have shared lists. It lets you attach pictures to items.

Same here. It also displays my shopping list on my Apple Watch, so i don't have to walk around the store with my iPhone in my hand.

You can use Alexa or Siri to add items to the shopping list also.

Our Groceries has this feature. Add item to list, then hit the info/whatever thing to the right and take a photo or use one in your photo library.

I’ve used it for years but it seems to have problems now. The Watch complication is no longer available. Their support site isn’t working. Company is in Russia which may be a problem

Our Groceries is what I use - there’s an Alexa skill for it, as well. And list sharing so anyone on the list can add or remove items.
