Can anyone help me find a Grocery list program that follows the paradigm I describe below:

--My paradigm for a grocery list, from experience using Listpro, is to have a comprehensive grocery list of all of the items that I might buy at sometime grouped by categories.
--When I am about to make a trip to the grocery store, I scroll through the list and check the items I need to buy. I then re-sort, moving those items to the top of the list, also either grouping them alphabetically or by category. That gives me a clear list of just the items I need to buy on this specific trip to the Grocery store.
--As I purchase an item, I uncheck it, and every so often, re-sort the list, moving the unchecked items to the bottom and leaving the checked items, which are items remaining to buy, at the top of the list until all have been purchased.
--As far as I can tell from their descriptive information and from having purchased 'Groceries', most list programs present either a list of recently purchased items (which may not be the items I need to buy on the next trip to the store) or a comprehensive list (without haven't tagged the specific items you want or need to buy on this trip).

If I'm incorrect, please explain or let me know of any programs you're aware of that do work in this way or in a similar manner.

    Thanks
    Gerry

SplashData has been ticking me off with their crappy iPhone version of the SplashMoney app that I loved on the Palm OS but they do make a SplashShopper app for the iPhone... I owned it for the Palm OS and I didn't use it that much but from what I recall it did pretty much what you are looking for..
