Group Face Time. What were Apple thinking?

Have you tried group Face Time yet?

God, it’s awful.

Even with just 3 users on iPhone X MAX’s it’s laggy, fiddly and overly complex.

It’s like a pre-beta-beta.

Nasty experience.

We were all on WiFi good enough to stream Netflix 4K

Not only was it laggy but there were pauses all over the place. Some users were appearing twice in the same call. It was just bug-ridden.

I’ve tried it twice now and it’s been totally un-usable both times.

Report your experience to Apple. It’s possible there are some bugs that need to be addressed etc.

I have and “some bugs” are an understatement.

I've only tried it twice - once with 3 people and the second time with 5 people - and it went super smooth except for one guy on the second call, who had a ****** reception, which is hard to blame Apple for.

Well I’m not sure why mine was so unbelievably poor. WiFi was good and all phones were XS Max. It was unusable in reality for everybody.

I’ll find some more friends are try again!

I have and “some bugs” are an understatement.

“Some Bugs” can cause a less than desirable experience with any computing device.
Software and hardware are always evolving it will never be perfect under every condition.

I know that. I emphasised “some” because there were “many” bugs. Almost none of it worked as it should on any device during the call.

“Many” is not acceptable.

I've used it twice and it has worked fine both times.

I tried again last night with a different group of friends and for me it was still appalling
