Group Messaging on Apple Watch

Hi all,

I just purchased my first Apple Watch and I am noticing that for group texts, when a new group message comes in on the watch, it is displaying them as individual texts from people in my contact list, rather than in the group, as they do on my iPhone. Obviously, this is an issue if I want to reply all to the group that this was sent to. Unfortunately, it just sends my reply to the individual person that I received the message from.

Is there a way around this? I would like to easily reply all to a group text, like a can on my iPhone.

iMessage or SMS groups? iMessage groups works for me.

SMS/MMS groups. Not iMessage.

Looks like updating to the latest WatchOS fixed the issue.
