GSM or CDMA?

I may get an iPad, but I'll be leaving the US for who knows where by the fall, so should I get the new version with wifi only?

And if I do choose to get the other variety, should I go GSM or CDMA? Which is better abroad?

Even though I'm a verizon guy (because of coverage in my area), I'd say splurge on the gsm if you can afford it. It's the safer bet. Also, you don't have to set up the gsm till you need it.
