Would a iphone with a blacklisted IMEI number from japan work if the phone was taken to australia?
Are all networks internationally linked through the imei blacklist?
thankyou

I don't think it's possible to re-lock them, I think it only Apple could and I don't think they would bother.

The 3rd party unlocks for softbank are expensive, it would almost be better to sell the phone and buy and unlocked one.

yeah i agree to be honest the ebay seller i got mine from no longer has any listings for softbank advertised though and i still need to get my wife's phone unlocked too, despite the price is there any trusted vendors you could recommend?
