Would a iphone with a blacklisted IMEI number from japan work if the phone was taken to australia?
Are all networks internationally linked through the imei blacklist?
    thankyou

But if it's a SoftBank phone, you will never get it unlocked to use on another carrier.

Okay so it isn't a Softbank phone? Or some 3rd Party company did an unlock?

I don't think it's possible to re-lock them, I think it only Apple could and I don't think they would bother.

The 3rd party unlocks for softbank are expensive, it would almost be better to sell the phone and buy and unlocked one.
