GT 120/130 Enough? or Radeon HD4850??

    hi.

    i wonder which will suffice if i purchase an imac for light gaming (e.g. L4D, etc.)

    will a 4850 be too much for that? :p

    you dont need a Mac Pro for light gaming, why not consider a Mac Mini or an iMac?

    If you need a Mac Pro for other purposes then the GT 120 will be more than enough for Left 4 Dead.

    These 3D shooters take a lot of GPU horsepower especially at the high resolutions of an iMac screen. I would most definitely opt for the 4850.

    I would probs opt for the ATI. The nvidia gpu they seem to use now is less powered than the old 8800gt by the looks of it. [​IMG]

    The GT130 is a rebranded 9600GSO. Get the ATI card if you want games.
