GT 120/130 Enough? or Radeon HD4850??

i wonder which will suffice if i purchase an imac for light gaming (e.g. L4D, etc.)

will a 4850 be too much for that? 😛

you dont need a Mac Pro for light gaming, why not consider a Mac Mini or an iMac?

If you need a Mac Pro for other purposes then the GT 120 will be more than enough for Left 4 Dead.

These 3D shooters take a lot of GPU horsepower especially at the high resolutions of an iMac screen. I would most definitely opt for the 4850.

I would probs opt for the ATI. The nvidia gpu they seem to use now is less powered than the old 8800gt by the looks of it.

The 4850 should be the fastest. Get it if you are getting the 24" iMac.

The GT130 is a rebranded 9600GSO. Get the ATI card if you want games.
