GT 120 or 4870 for a new MP?

Hello, I'm about to purchase a new MP and do not know which video card to go for. My use for the MP is music production but I also like to play games every once in a while. Which of these two video cards should I go for?

I currently have an 8800GT and it seems fine. My fears is that the advantage wont be that big for the money they charge and it will be too loud.

The 8800GT is a much better card than the 120.

As Pressure says much better. Tom's Hardware had some indepth reviews comparisons on PC systems, which a well worth a gander.

Now if only Apple didn't charge so **** much.

It's somewhat ridiculous. I know we're the pro community and all, and we should be able to afford that stuff, but I mean those prices are just unacceptable.

if you dont have the money, chose the 120 until you can afford the 4870 and flog the 120 on ebay 🙂
