GTA IV asks me for serial and unlock code !!!!!

I have the original game of GTA IV DVD and just installed it under Windows XP SP3.

I'm wondering why it asks me for serial and unlock code ??????? 😕

How to get them ???? I paid 18$ for this game please 🙁

The serial number is on the back of the instruction manual. The booklet that says "On Liberty" with the statue of liberty on the front.

I have a similiar issue, but I have actually misplaced the booklet with the serial on it.

I had it installed on my computer, and then decided to uninstall and reinstall to fix some problems I had, before I discovered I had lost the serial?

Contacted RockStar and they said they cannot replace lost keys, what is my next option?

I paid $80 for this...

you're hosed unless you find the manual or buy a new one. heck, eBay prob has them cheap

This is another reason I stick with console gaming. If you have the game it works all the time, no problems.
