518 days since the first trailer released. Yeah, we have to wait until May 26....NEXT year.
Say what you want, it looks pretty amazing.

I guess we'll have to wait a while for some gameplay examples

The game is sensationally good looking. The world detail is gob smacking. Add the chaos or car chases, physical destruction and stunt, and 60fps on consoles is unlikely unless the Series S potato did, either is made available to the other consoles to run at 60fps.

Kudos to rockstar for dumping lots of screenshots too. It reduces the hunt for leaks and probably signals a step toward toward wider testing with more gamers.

I am hyped!

I don't mind the delay as long as it's not buggy, as long as it's worth it. I do think it looks great already and will be a day one pre-order for me.

There will likely be bugs. It’s a huge and expansive open world game. Even 10,000 beta testers might not be sufficient to test ever combination of gameplay, tactics and outcomes. As long as the bugs are not catastrophic I won’t moan.

Rockstar makes quality games as they take their time to do it. Think back, GTA V came out originally for the PS3, so 13 years ago. They most certainly have been in development for a large portion of that time, you can't put out these Games (GTA and Red Dead) with the level of detail they do without putting serious time into it. Can't speak to the bugs but I played GTA V on release and don't remember any bugs, same went for Red Dead 2. Not that there might not have been some, but there was nothing major that got any press that I can remember. I will buy a PS5 for GTA VI. I still find it hard to believe the images they have shown is actual gameplay footage and not some CGI trailer.

Yeah. The visuals are unreal and makes MindsEye look like a PS4 game. However the trailer visuals are believable. Play Red Dead 2 in 2025 and you won't believe that it's 7 years old. The character details, physics and animations are nothing short of world class.

oh I do play Red Dead 2, it is my favorite game and have way too many hours into that one. That is what I love about RockStar, the detail they put into these games. I still find new things in the game when I go back and play.

They do take their time and it usually pays off well for them. GTA VI is expected to be another blockbuster game by Rockstar which is likely to break many records in gaming history.

I am betting within the first week they go over a billion in sales. If memory serves me Red Dead 2 did around $750 million in the first week.

$1b in the first week will be doable. They will likely offer $100-120 versions that grant 4-5 days early access. Fomo will be so strong that many gamers will cave in. However there will generate many more billions from gta online and in app purchases.

I don't think there will be another delay. Even if the game is buggy they will have to release it. This will make debugging easier as you will gather more feedback from more end users.

I think they are just releasing a console version to start, which is what they did with GTA V. I bought the game 3 different times. First on PS3, then PS4 and finally for PC. Same for Red Dead, bought it for PS4 and then again for PC when it came out. I am sure I am not the only one.
