Hi users of GTD software,

I've been looking around the GTD scene, and have tried iGTD2 and Things. However, it seems none of them support repeating tasks that one has to perform daily, weekly, monthly, and so forth. Each task requires me to set a due date.

Does anyone know of any GTD apps that allows for repeating tasks? I've googled for this without much success.

Thank you!
JC

Hi,

I'm not too sure as to whether your request is featured in any GTD apps. May I suggest emailing the makers of "Things"? As they're in public beta at the moment they are very responsive to user feed-back.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your reply! I am surprised, since I thought repeating tasks would be one of the most commonly required features. After all, aren't we all swamped with the same routine work over and over again? Pay bills, do the laundry, wash the dog, mow the lawn etc.

OK.. here's a reply...

I work freelance, every project is different! I try not to do laundry on set days, it's far less boring this way. There's no lawn outside just a 10-15 meter drop!! All my bills are paid via bank transfer - maybe you should try it and never worry about missing a payment. I don't have a puppy.. the missus take up more than enough time, though she can take herself for a walk!

:D
