GTX 780 glitch

I understand that this is an after market card in my 2010MP, but it is an EFI version from MacVidCards...I get glitches sometimes.

Thoughts appreciated.

I have an MVC Gigabyte OC GTX 780. I've had it over a year now, and it works perfectly in my 5,1 DP Mac Pro.

I bought it from a friend who bought it from MVC. Not sure if it's covered via support.

Been doing some eGPU testing in 10.10.1 and have seen similar stuff in Safari, some new driver/safari bug.

Yeah its 10.10.1 (non beta).

It happens when I have AE open or anything thats using a bit of the GPU power. The glitches leave residue around different windows.

May be driver issues. I use Chrome...maybe there's a conflict?

Try the Valley benchmark. Run it a few times.

A bad card will show artifacts or crash.

Sometimes thermal paste needs to be reapplied.

Ran it for about a few hours and no glitches. It may be Chrome/AE related...
