GTX 780 or 970 ?

Hope this is the right section for this...

MP 5,1 editing Adobe Premiere Pro.

Wondering which would be more powerful?
780 3GB 2304 CUDA Cores, or
970 4GB 1664 CUDA Cores?

I kind of superficially know about the 3.5GB memory allocation of the 970.

Does anybody know Premiere GPU needs well? Cores vs RAM?

I ask about these 2 cards because both are available, so would appreciate opinions on both for a fast purchase.
Can't really wait to try get a 980, but is it vastly superior?

Take the gtx 970 eventhough there are less cuda cores the 970 is vastly superior. The 980 woukd be better but I doubt you would see much difference between the 970 and 980.
