    Hi all,

Just installed a new (apple modded) GTX470 into my MP 3,1

works fine, everything seems to be good, but when i run my GLview test the spinning cube doesnt give me over 900fps.. ive looked and modified the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext and under the 2 entries for mp 4,1 and 5,1 ive added my gtx470 06cd to the kext, but it didnt change anything.. (obviously as there is no entry for the MP3,1 Duh! lol)

just wondering if ive missed something??

anyone have a good benchmark to see if this 470 is working right and ive installed it correctly...

also i am running 10.6.8 (should have mentioned that in the first place.)

as i am not running lion, should OpenCL be working straight away? or do i still need to patch as per the netkas fix?? cheers

any info would be handy :)

    Vanne (now in Dubai :)

    Yes delete the kext

I just put in a gtx460. Card was recognized but ran slow until kext was removed.
I dont think open cl works outta the box
    I dont use it
    Enjoy your new card!
