You'll have to flash the card with a custom EFI before it works.

There is, but it's bloody pricey.

The eGPU PNP setup consists of any NVIDIA desktop GPU and a Sonnet IIID chassis, plus a cooler.

For more details, refer link above. Plug and play only works in Windows 8 that is installed in a UEFI environment.

And as a side note, it's also plug and play in OS X as well.
