We were hear at work talking about Dorito's and made me think of the greatest flavor ever, Guacamole. I have not seen them on the shelves for atleast 2-3 years. I always thought it was a seasonal flavor, but like I said I have not seen it in a long time. Have the disappeared forever?

. I think they might have been discontinued. I would google it and see if you can find info/buy them online.I tried. I bet those Frito/Lay Executives make them in short runs for themselves with total disregard to public welfare.
They used to make an awesome flavor called Salsa Rio. One day I was lucky enough to score a bag that had a big nugget of seasoning (about the size of half a golf ball) in the bottom of the bag.
Now, you'd think that a clump of the yummy goodness that separates Doritos from tortilla chips would be quite tasty by itself, and you'd be right - but I can't say I recommend it. I took a good bite of the stuff, and I seem to remember it being saltier than soy sauce, miso paste, beef jerky, and salt pork combined. It was also rather spicy.
Sadly, that flavor disappeared almost 20 years ago, best I can remember.
Yes, and they're fantastic! Eat one of each together at a time for the best effect.

While we're on the topic of unknown food disappearances, what ever happened to Coca-Cola Black???? They introduced these a few years ago: a mix of Coke and Coffee. They were DELICIOUS, but I can't find them anymore...

According to Wikipedia it was discontinued in 2008.
I also wish they would bring back Flamin' Hot Doritos I remember having them when I was around 12.
Any seriously good Doritos are to be welcomed.....blue cheese, guacamole, cooler ranch, and some of their spicier cousins....
