This post is really telling i am correct in buying from a carrier, getting your hands on the phone and knowing just what i am buying.
This ordering from Apple and have it deliverd just gives to many chances of a problem.
This is a first for me from Apple, and honestly I blame UPS. They didn’t follow through with what should’ve been done, which was retrying delivery.

That being said, because it went back to Apple without using the label and return # they sent once they got the (incorrect) package refusal info, it took way too long IMO for them to put the return together with my order number, and that was extremely frustrating.

But I DID get my 4-pack of AirTags today for my trouble, which I thought was a very nice gesture on their part.

So glad that you’re finding eventual closer on this matter, it must have been an extremely anxious and frustrating few weeks. All through no fault of your own.
