Apple's iPhone 4 press conference is coming, what will happen on the conference? These are my thoughts, and they make sense.

First, state clearly that signal loss issue is not iPhone 4 exclusive, and make demos with other phones from different manufactures.

Second, explain why so many negative news on Apple flowing recently:
1, Media use iPhone to catch eye balls
2, Competitors over exaggerate this issue to strike on Apple

Finally, give Apple's response:
1, Apple's strike back to competitors: iPhone 4's price will lower to $149 (16GB) and $249 (32GB)
2, Existing customers can choose to get either complete refund or $100 Apple Store credits
3, Customers can almost get 2 Bumpers with the lowered $50, so no free Bumper offering.

I agree. There wont be a recall, atleast.

Edit: Iphone4mac, it is PT time (California). Eastern is 3 hours ahead.

SJ loses it while taking questions, starts screaming and cursing at the media and gets fired

seems like Apple is caught like a deer in headlights. they never had to take criticism like this based on quality and they are used to selling to a cult of followers who are more than willing to wait for a fix and still keep the faith. Google/Verizon or whoever has run this antenna campaign did a good job and Apple doesn't seem to know how to react. it was easy to make I'm a Mac ads but when the competition does the equivalent of the same thing they are completely lost

Agreed, I am in Manchester UK. Just got an email from the priority list saying my simfree phone is ready til tomorrow! If there is a recall or revise it how can they still sell me tomorrow :D

I'll bet you apple doesn't lower the price or give anything out for free. No bumpers, no cases, no itunes credits or apple gift cards. SJ will come on, tell us what Apple thinks the problem is, how they're addressing it, answer a few questions and leave. Hopefully they announce the white iPhone too.

i bet you a free bumper and a $50 gift card that apple doesn't give away anything or recall anything because they are Apple and we'll still wait in long lines for their phones and pay outrageous prices for computers with nothing loaded on them.

EFFFFF! :(

+10

I'd bet Verizon starts offering free cases with the droid x to get more than one person in line for it before I'll be apple hands anything out. If I just sold 2-3 million of anything I'd be seriously contemplating how to raise the price not lower it.

I'll pay to see that coming, yeah right!!!!!!

I've my wife iphone4 still in progress thru attwireless.com

Let see what happens. Does anyone know where can we see today conference?

i predict a free feel of steves balls and free pair of headphones,

seriously apple will not come through this being loved. i can really see me sending this phone back tmrw, as you only have 14 days to return your phone as stated on the apple website lol.

In all probability nothing's gonna happen. Apple will explain once again how its not an issue and that will be the end of it...

Now if there is a deluge of returns tomorrow...well that might get them to do something...

They aren't going to lower the price of a phone that launched less than 30 days ago.

Then you are obviously pretty clueless.

Remember this little gem????

http://www.apple.com/hotnews/openiphoneletter/

To all iPhone customers:

I have received hundreds of emails from iPhone customers who are upset about Apple dropping the price of iPhone by $200 two months after it went on sale. After reading every one of these emails, I have some observations and conclusions.
