Guess on Store Date

ACK! LOL ok June 2015 in the US on this Earth and not in any other alternate realities. Hope that covers my bases.June 2016
I have a gut feeling the launch day will be Friday, June 12th.
A) I just picture Tim at the WWDC on Monday hyping the sales, other stats about how many watches have sold. Of course saving the big news for last asking what the majority want to know - "When will it be in stores?!". That's when he'll get a huge round of applause when he says "THIS Friday" (June 12) OS updates are like this - Announced 1:30pm ET available later that day..around 5-6pm ET. Announce the new phones on a Monday, pre-orders hit 3am ET Friday (In this case, no pre order obviously, so the physical store launch could be days away ) I can't see it being any later really. Since big launch days are usually a Friday, it just makes sense - keep the people happy. Ok, MAYBE the 19th is possible, but nah..not the 26th. I'm sticking with the 12th, Apple knows it needs to get this out in stores ASAP.
B) It was mentioned, the Apple retail employees and / or management have had their meeting, "'get hyped' - All hands on deck, blah blah" speech last week. So they are ready and no they never admit what day it will be - if they know it or not.
C) How long will inventory last at the stores? Worth it to camp out overnight outside a store/mall only to find out the model you want is gone. Could do that as you check stock on your Apple Store app..not truly real time though. Or what I saw rumored..all speculation of course. 8am on Launch day, one would check the site to see if your specific model is in stock. "Reserve it" (and I would think buy it online?) Head to the store and pick it up. Quick process for everyone. Maybe not a popular process. *But no matter what, people will camp out.

*Now will this tick a few off that ordered last week with a delivery windows of June 24-30? Eh..probably. However, maybe these orders will come early..Heck maybe between the 12th - 17th. If they are in that window, I wouldn't cancel it. A few more days won't kill them, but canceling the order and risking not getting the model they want on retail launch. That will be much more painful.

I should have also asked for everyone's guesses what models they would and wouldn't have in stock on the in store launch day. Plus are any of you waiting to buy when they are in stores?
My guess is they would NOT have 42 Space Gray Black Sports. I think they may mostly have a lot of 38s and very few 42s.

I agree; I think they'll have a lot of the 38s in the Sports and Apple Watch configurations, and I am hoping that they will have the 38mm in the Stainless Steel Space Black..... Probably it will take longer for the 42s in the various choices to be available at the retail stores.
Ill actually vote for 6/12/15 as well. A week ago i wouldn't have but as slow as shipments been this week i feel they are saving stock for store... I would be really salty if they sold in store before shipping out to those that ordered before the 8th of June

Stores will have stock of what has been shipping the quickest. I would think that eventually that the next roll out would be in store pick-up to get people back in the stores.

No, I don't think so. That's the launch of Apple watch to more countries. They also said that in store would be available by then, so that gave you an outside window. But, then Jeff Williams said it will be happening in two weeks (so, no later than June 17th, if this was stated yesterday).

It will be this month sometime. However, I have seen people on reddit who ordered the space black receive emails from Apple stating that the watch model they ordered will not be available in stores until current online orders are fulfilled. I'll link the picture below..
Going by that I would assume you could say the same for a watch like the 42 SG Sport. The only watches I can see them having in stores are various 38 models and 42 SS sport band models since their turn around time seems to be quick.

Heh. Read it again. June 26 is the additional countries date.
Second paragraph:
"All orders placed through May, with the sole exception of Apple Watch 42 mm Space Black Stainless Steel with Space Black Link Bracelet, will ship to customers within two weeks. At that time, we’ll also begin selling some models in our Apple Retail Stores.”

EDIT: Nevermind, I never clued in it as for just those countries.
You missed reading further into the article. That paragraph deals only with the 7 countries being added June 26.
"Apple also announced that it will begin selling select Apple Watch models through the Apple Store in two weeks, presumably including the United States and other first wave launch countries. Apple Watch orders have been taken exclusively online since the device launched in April."
It seems to be saying June 26th is when it'll be available in store and online in those countries it listed. Missing from that list, obviously, is America. Which will probably have an earlier in store release date.
So I may get my watch first or they maybe in stores first. Guess I'll have to wait and see. Still hasn't shipped yet. Maybe tomorrow. (Crosses fingers)
