300ppi would suck but it's likely to happen

400ppi would be awesome

I guess they'll release multiple versions to cater to the needs of the public. I'm sure they'll keep the 4.0", as many are satisfied and were satisfied with 3.5"

That's quite a leap don't you think? iPad mini is 7.9 with significant bezel for holding.

5.1 diagonal is about the overall size of an iPhone 4/4S. With minimal bezel done somehow it's really not that big.

I don't expect nor really want a 5.1 screen but comparing to an iPad mini is a stretch.

Have you guys, who are guessing 4.3-4.7 inches, seen this pic? Drawings suggests 5.07 inches. BUT IMO there are some mistakes made, which makes measurements look a bit bigger than they really are. 5.07 -> 5.0.

Who's hand? Many can't reach the upper opposite corner of the current iPhone and it happened. I can't in a big case and my hands are average/bigger.

By correcting for perspective distortion, I come up with the following dimensions:
overall height:5.48 inches
overall width: 2.65 inches
display height: 4.09 inches
display width: 2.30 inches

display diagonal: 4.7 inches
