It might be a bit obscure for someone outside the U.S. but I do know he got around... let me know if you need a clue.
 
Freeny, is that Gore Vidal in the first picture? Not that that's going to help any. Hoping that it's very U.S.-centric so I won't feel so stupid.

Don't feel alone. I've been mulling over "who IS This guy?" off and on this evening. I can't, for the life of me, place him. Film director/producer? Musician? What's with the ascot? Argh.

second is Jerry Remy of the Boston Red Sox

= Ron Jerry Remy or Ron Jeremy

I'll be honest, it was the 1,700 films + google that got it. then associating with Jerry Remy
 
I got sidetracked into cartoon dogs on finding that Jerry Remy's nickname was Remdawg. Didn't have a clue what Ron Hubbard looked like.
