The hand size looks to be about a medium.
Measure from the thumb to the tip of the middle finger, multiply x2, and add to the tensile value for the aluminium, and there you have it...
(What's that smear on that laptop lid, anyway?)

But, looks like it's about halfway to the carpet (good catch, however!)
