I've seen posts of people believing rumors told by employees, but just to show you how little they really know about inside information, I'll tell you a story. Today I went to AT&T to help my grandmother upgrade her iPhone, not realizing she wasn't 'authorized' to make changes to the plan. I told her she could simply have my grandpa log in on the AT&T website and add her as authorized, the salesman then rolled his eyes and sayed that only costumer service can do that. I told him that I'm pretty sure you can do this online (I've done it several times on my account) and he states "I'm pretty sure you can't." I went out to the car and tried it on my iPhone on my account, and I was able to. Now this doesn't sound like a big deal but if you're going to roll your eyes and act like a jerk to customers, you sure as heck better be right. Anyone else have any similar experiences?
