hey....

So I have a guest over that I allowed to connect to my guest network. He then told me he wanted to AirPlay something. I told him that he wouldn't be able to do that as he is in the guest network and my Apple TV is on my personal wifi network. Well guess who was wrong? Me. So he was able to see my apple tv's (Bluetooth?) and then once he entered the code on the screen started pushing a stream from his phone to my tv.

So all this to ask, should this be the case? I don't like the idea that my guest network can talk to my personal network.

It was probably Peer-to-peer Airplay (see here). It uses Bluetooth to set up a p2p Wifi connection between the devices (similar to Wifi Direct). Of course it is also possible that there is some router misconfiguration such that the guest network is not isolated from your home network (you can test this by connecting a computer to the guest network and trying to ping the Apple TV).
