iamMacPerson macrumors 68040 May 17, 2014 #2 Yes, it just needs to be formatted (on the Mac) with ExFAT or FAT32. This is how Boot Camp Assistant works. All it does is set aside a part of your HDD formatted under ExFAT so you can install Windows.
