In order to make the most of the new Guides, I'm trying to more tightly integrate the forums and the Guides.

The top of each forum now has a "Guides" area where guides can be linked to. Similar to "stickies", the new Guide links should eventually replace most stickies.

The biggest advantage is that these links are user editable. Any user with Guide-editing access can add links or remove links as needed.

For detailed instructions, see this link:

You need some very basic Wiki-editing skills, and if you have questions, you can start here:

New MacGuide tags

Example Usage [guide]IPod[/guide]
Example Output [guide]IPod[/guide]

Example Usage [guide=IPod]Apple iPod[/guide]
Example Output Apple iPod

Note MacGuide wiki pages are case sensitive.

ipod isn't the same as IPod. And due to the way the software works, all the first letters have to be capitals. (sorry)
