@MacPro2006VBox I'm sorry. I lost my grandfather in late January; what comforts me now is that he's at least finally free of this horrible world and doesn't have to be subject to it any longer.
Funny story though ... several weeks or so later, I had a dream - one I don't think I'll ever forget.
It was set under broad daylight. He appeared seemingly out of thin air, rather comfortably standing under a tree, about ten feet away from where I was. He made a small smile to me, and held it for several seconds.
Almost out of instinct, I started to approach him to get a better look, in a bid to confirm if I was in fact actually in his presence after death. Shortly thereafter, once the distance between us closed to roughly five feet apart, he was gone. What happened immediately following that is unfortunately much fuzzier, but I believe I then woke up.
I haven't seen him since. But he's definitely still around if that experience was anything to go by (which says something, because I've never once had dreams like that before). So, I'm positive your great grandmother is not far from you either if you do not close yourself off.
Death awaits all of us eventually. Whatever plane of existence we as souls resided in before we were born we will inevitably return to again in time. - So ultimately, I'm not worried.
