The first J/B that came out this morning was RC13, which came with a note saying that iPhone 4 wasn't yet supported, then RC14 arrived....
 
Sorry if this has been asked, but I did search the forums. I have an iPhone 4 and an iPad, both at 4.3.1 and jailbroken. Is it worth upgrading to 4.3.2 and jailbreaking again?

Yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, I'm one of the people on the 1.59.00 baseband so ultrasn0w has proven to be very problematic for me.

I'm experiencing a higher drain to my battery since 4.3.1 (upgraded from 4.1) so I may go for the new firmware. I'm not sure I feel like setting everything up all over again but I may at some point soon.

Here are the changes I found:

Improved battery life
Fixed issue with blank or frozen video during (or before) a FaceTime call
Fixed issue with connectivity to 3G networks on iPad 3G + WiFi


If both battery life and FaceTime are giving you trouble it's probably worth it.
 
Yesss it finally works. Was unable to jb with 4.3.1 ! 3 times no luck but now i'm happy with 4.3.2 snowbreezed...
 
im on att, iPhone 4 on 4.3.1. Used Redsn0w to jailbreak...

I just want my MMS to work, what should i do? Will the new Redsn0w fix it??

Crap! I also have that firmware on my jb iphone4. I'm still on version 4.1 and looking to upgrade and jb for an app that requires it. Are there any other options other than ultrasn0w?

currently only ultrasn0w can do the job :(
 
Anyone else having trouble with bluetooth keyboards after jailbreaking?

Just did mine, paired it up to edit some plists with iFile. It was working fine for awhile, then randomly crashed once, now it seems every time I connect the keyboard, the phone crashes and reboots. Tethering via bluetooth doesn't seem to create any problems.

Currently doing some troubleshooting, will report back if I figure it out.

Update:

Seems I got it figured. Not sure what I did exactly. Toggled Bluetooth on/off several times, didn't seem to solve anything. So I completely unpaired all bluetooth devices from the phone, as well as from my MacBook Pro, as they share the keyboard. Also toggled Airplane mode a couple of times and did a restart with power and home, re-paired everything and it seems to be working so far.

Wait, so there is a safe untethered jb from 4.3.2 for the iPhone 4?

What even changed in 4.3.2?

yes, redsn0w RC14 fixed the iPhone 4 bug as stated by someone above.

the most important change for me is a fix with blank black screen when initiating a facetime call.
 
Is anyone having the one bar issue with 4.3.2? I jbed with RedSn0w and installed UltraSn0w, and I have one bar constantly right now in a place where I usually have four or five bars.

The issue with older baseband 01.59.00 is still there probably.
You have to install ultrasnow and then try to get it not to mess up your mms or VVM.

I have Ultrasnow 1.2.1 installed. Latest version from Cydia. It fixed the issue on 4.3.1, but it doesn't seem to be working on 4.3.2. Any ideas?
 
snowbreeze 2.6 f*cked up my iPhone4. I am running windows 7 64bit, but I ran snowbreeze in XP compatability mode. When I got to the part where it asked me to restore using the custom IPSW file, it bombed on me. Had to do a factory restore :mad:
 
I would upgrade to 4.3.2 if only the one signal bar issue was fixed and I didn't need to use ultrasnow. Anyone think there'll be a fix for it without needing ultra snow?. I also heard that bitesms had some issues with 4.3.2. not sure if that's fixed yet or not. I'm not really sure if the wi-fi bridging and and the faster safari nitro is worth upgrading and screwing up a bunch of jailbreak apps.
