snowbreeze 2.6 f*cked up my iPhone4. I am running windows 7 64bit, but I ran snowbreeze in XP compatability mode. When I got to the part where it asked me to restore using the custom IPSW file, it bombed on me. Had to do a factory restore

After a full restore, I decided to try again, except this time with redsn0w. Worked like a charm. I should have tried that JB in the first place rather than snowbreeze.

Is it possible to update basebands??!

If you want to void the unlocked you can update the baseband

but, if you want to keep the unlocked you will still need to wait.

is it possible to jailbreak without having to lose all your info/camera roll/etc.?

I can't restore from a old backup because that will get rid of the jailbreak.


So how do you go about jailbreaking AND keeping your camera roll, notes, and other settings and whatnot?
