I installed if for the first time last night on my recently install of Mavericks on my 2011 27" iMac (i5 16GB 6970? 1GB).

Installed with no issues and played for maybe an hour. Game play was very smooth and so far I am liking the looks of the game. Started an install on the Wife's iMac today.

So hopefully we can get a few hours tonight to play like, well not like we did in our WoW days, but have a few hours of fun. :)

    Guild Wars discount

    Guild Wars discounted:

"For one day only, we’re offering Guild Wars 2 at our lowest price ever! On Sunday, October 27 both the Digital Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition are 40% off the regular price! Don’t delay – this offer applies only to Digital Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition purchased through buy.guildwars2.com from 3:00pm PDT October 26, 2013 through 11:59pm PDT October 27, 2013."

Very short notice on the past of Arena Net and a very tight window for purchase. Go figure.

Performance has Been improved a lot across the board. The amazing thing about guild wars is scale! When hundreds of players fight in the same spot, it used to drag down computes. Too many character models and spell effects on screen but they have fixed that so it's a lot more smooth than before!

    The game is amazing! :D

I started playing on Mountain Lion a few weeks ago with the free week they offered and purchased the game over the weekend (due to the discount). Ran great on Mountain Lion and now runs great on Mavericks, no complaints.

LOL! You got to be kidding me! I bought two copies of it on the 24th. I have only played a little bit. Up to level 8 or 9 Ranger. The wife hasn't played it yet. We have been real busy with the kids lately.
Hopefully, get to do something with it soon. But sure would have been nice to get 40% off two copies. That will probably only rarely get played.
