Guitar Rig 3 and Logic Studio

I am trying to record Guitar Rig 3 Kontrol with Logic Studio. I have no problem getting everything set up to play. I can hear everything fine and all of my effects work. The problem is, whenever I record, I can't get Logic to keep the audio file the way I played it. It allows me to manipulate the effects on the track by stomping on me pedal after the track is finished recording. For instance: If I record a track using clean tone guitar. Logic allows me to change the whole track into distorted guitar after it's been recorded. I want Logic to record my playing and keep the file as I played it. I don't want to be able to manipulate the track after the fact.
