gumdrop drop case = awesome

No pics to upload yet but I will take a few. I opted for the black/black (initially ordered white/black but came to my senses as my toddler with a crayon would "enhance" that white case pretty quickly).

Hi there. Im looking to get the Gumdrop for my wife because our new born likes to kick his hands around and might knock it down. Is there a possibility to remove the screen protector?

I don't think there is a difference. I have a Pink one and the Military edition and aside from color they seem identical.

A review I read said that the military one had dust filters on the speaker and microphone portion and the regular series did not. No clue if that's true.

BTW, the Amazon reviews for the iPad 3 version have an higher than average number of complaints. They claim Gumdrop is repackaging the iPad 2 version, and that it's not fitting quite right. Caveat emptor, I guess.

I can confirm that the Military edition has built in clear protectors covering both the front and rear camera where the other versions do not.

Not sure about the complaints as my cases were labeled for the 3rd gen iPad and iPad 2. I have tried them on both iPads and they work fine.

I could not be happier with this case, I use them for my kids and they are perfect for that type of use.
