I preordered one of these beasts and it will hands down be the last time I buy a product from this company! Here is my review on Amazon and for all this who made the mistake that I did send it back and ask for a full refund. I paid through Amazon payments and just received my full $50 back which included the shipping. I'm out 10 bucks for returning it, I should have dumped it in the trash. I don't understand how they say in business!

Actually, they have a history of good products - almost all 4.5/5. But not in this case, I guess.

I would tend to agree with you but it seems to me that I had this situation arise on another one of their cases that clearly was rushed to production without the benefit of having the actual product in hand. I have had their cases before and like them very much and was looking forward to this thing working as a replacement for the Apple silicone back that is extremely over priced. I thought the pre-order was a fair price that I took advantage of and was gravely disappointed with the overall product that I received. I think they know it's a bomb, as they refunded me before they even received the product back. I sincerely hope they go back to the drawing board and get it right and I would be the first one to give them another shot should they do this.

Got this from Gum Drop today!
Dear 3goldens,
We’re not happy with our iPad Pro Case and we’re going to send you a new one.

In our recent rush to make available a case option for the new iPad Pro we made some mistakes and we want to replace it. On some cases the removable panel covering the Smart Keyboard connection and volume buttons are not working as designed. This effects about 30% of the units shipped.

We are correcting these issues by redesigning the frame, making it wrap fully around the iPad. This will provide more security for your iPad Pro but it will also no longer allow it to connect to the Smart Keyboard when the case is on. We understand that this will not be an issue for all our customers but want to be clear about our goals. We decided to opt for a more rugged and reliable case at the expense of integration with the keyboard.

We will AUTOMATICALLY ship out a replacement as fast as we can. Our estimate is mid-january. Keep the existing case for now and enjoy its protection until we have the replacement in your hands. The original case will not be required to be returned.

If you would like a refund please email your order number (#xxxx) to support@gumdropcases.com.

We appreciate your business and your support. Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,
Gumdrop Cases
