So this was immediately wrong. Maybe we can start classifying people based on how accurate their statements have been?

Would be good, Gurmen bottom of the list when it comes to release schedules, he swore blind the Apple Watch 7 would see a redesign, then he stated as fact the iPad Mini 6 would not be launched, on the very same day Apple launched it! Then again Koh pretty much copied Gurman too.
When it comes to the tech and specs of products they are into bad, but when it comes to predicting Apples release schedules their are definite differences on whose accurate and who is laughably inaccurate.

TO be honest there is kind of a 50:50 chance of new Laptops being released at each Apple announcement. I may have a go at this top secret super informed Tech guru stuff too lol

A lot of people here seem not to realise that Apple did in fact release a lot of accessories: Watch bands and iPhone covers. The MBA was just a bonus.

Well, technically he wasn't wrong. The Belkin mount and a few other accessories are what dropped this week. The M3 MacBook Air doesn't start shipping until this Friday, so there isn't anything for Apple Stores to refresh in their stores.

Oh come on, he stated no new Apple Hardware would be 'launched' this week, and literally 'less' then an hour after Mac Rumors reported that Apple 'Launched' a new MacBook Air.

You are seriously reaching to claim otherwise.

Mark Gurman is wrong so much. Most of the time if he's right about anything it's already been reported or it's a "no duh" situation. But usually he'll smoosh several things together so that his fan boys can call the whole group a correct prediction.

Let's not conflate the MacRumors headline with what Gurman actually wrote in that tweet. He didn't use the words "limit announcements" but MacRumors characterized it that way. Gurman wrote that accessories would be refreshed this week, product next week. Which seems correct.

The problem with all of these rumors is that they are squishy and nothing more than fodder for discussion.
