A square'ish retro design and 1mm is not worth turning in my Series 5.
I think Apple has as additional new feature up their sleeve for the Series 7. If it’s worth to you is another question, but one new sensor/health feature might be. It could be a body temperature sensor which I think Apple is probably capable of doing right now if they wanted to unlike glucose and BP which may take a few more years to develop.

This guy Gurman is brilliant! His insights are phenomenal.

Not mentioned here, but I understand he also predicted that, in these circumstances, the watch will either be priced the same as last year's, lower than last year's, or higher.

In a special report, only for subscribers, he also said his sources confirmed that there will be new features added this year or in the coming years to Apple products!

At least Prosser makes actual predictions, even if his batting average isn't the greatest.

[Trigger warning: That's a clickbait comment! 😎]
It’s working.😂🤣

Apple nailed the formula of the watch updates: 1mm larger screen (touted as the best screen in a smart watch), re-used/unified form factor, the fastest CPU on a smart watch and a 30usd bump in price. Making the S6 slow. But Zero new user features. And millions will buy it blindly. I will wait for next year, my s6 without electrocardiogram functions (country restrictions) is fine for now, no intention to upgrade the Watch OS just to make it slow.
S6 slow lol

I’m sure that the cost will increase. We have a runaway global inflation train going on right now. Coupled with silicon shortage. I mean I still can’t get my hands on a ps5 months after release.
Maybe you live someplace different than me, but the PS5 and Xbox Series X were released almost a year ago in the US. It‘s insane — nearly a year, and not only do I not have one, I legit haven’t even seen one unit in stores. They’re going to be moving to the next gen by the time we get our hands on one, lmao.

First of all, economics and marketing 101 would have taught you that the scarcity nonsense is a myth. It’s pure stupidity from every perspective, and of course you think it’s the “basics” to which the rest is built on…which says plenty.
You said it way better than I was planning to.

Also, people need to stop adding “101” to everything. it’s driving me nuts — not EVERY SINGLE THING is a class in college, lol

So were most online shops for the PS5 but the bots still managed to place thousands of orders.

apple's system for preordering is light years beyond any other retailer at the moment. absolutely not saying it doesnt happen, but when everyone else was struggling to sell product to actual customers last year, apple did not share this same problem.

when people were lining up outside microcenters overnight for GPUs and CPUs, apple was selling new iphones & watches the same way they do every year, and in a method that is virtually painless to the consumer.

yet best buy, microcenter, newegg, gamestop, etc. still cant be bothered to implement a system like it.

apple locked down the sales process and means of distribution a long time ago. think the last time i sat for an iphone launch was the 6...possibly the 7. but since then its been their ordering system, and even when i had one year when i didnt secure it for launch day preorder, there was still a way to find day-of stock for those who look for the know-how.

Wouldn't be the first time. I've preordered iPhones and the Apple Watch during prior years when there were significant production shortages for whatever reason. Just gotta be on at midnight and mash buttons to try to get in the early queue. If you miss that window, expect it will be early December or so before you can get one.

I'll be part of the midnight rush because our Series 4 watches are suffering from battery degradation and need to be replaced soon.
